Innovative Applications of AI in the Residential Sector

This report, drafted by the BEKE BrainLink working group, combines the latest domestic and international practical achievements and case studies. It summarizes the current applications of AI in areas such as intelligent creativity and design, smart hardware and smart construction sites, intelligent assistants and smart marketing, smart home and intelligent space, and intelligent property management and communities. Taking the large model of home decoration design, SheNiu, based on AIGC technology as an example, this report systematically elaborates on the challenges encountered during the implementation of innovative residential applications and solutions thereof. It presents the trends of innovative applications of AI in the residential sector from several perspectives, including scientific planning and intelligent development, whole-home smart systems and future spaces, personalized and customized residential service, smart machines and robots, and low-carbon living and sustainable development. It is hoped that this report will serve as a reference for the innovative application of AI in the residential sector, helping the industry take residential scenarios into consideration while exploring more intelligent innovations and building a new AI engine for residential living.
